I think could be repaired with a quick stitch to reconnect the broken strand. Strap is long enough for a cross body, although a little shorter than typical for modern cross body styles. It's a perfect length for a shoulder bag. Clasp is so unique, you just thread the \"key\" through the \"keyhole.\" Bags like this in this condition are hard to find. Measures 7.75\" at widest base, 7\" at top. Strap drop length is 16\" and bag depth is about 3.25\". I was able to fit a full sized trifold wallet, keys, and iPhone with room to spare.
